Bring your family, there is something to do for everyone!
SIGN UPS: TBD, contact us for more info!
LOCATION:
The route starts and finishes at Primm, Nevada. You can leave your vehicle or RV parked in the Fashion Outlet Mall parking lot, 32100 Las Vegas Blvd South, Primm, Nevada (please note: no RV hookups available). Exit Interstate 15 at Primm.
ROUTE INFO:
We will be set up to give you route directions either through GPS (bring your own cable to sign-up) or through a roll chart (gives the turns based on mileage) - roll chart holders available at signup for $25
POINTS OF INTEREST:
There are several points of interest along the route. On Saturday morning, there is a High Overlook View of Primm. Goodsprings has the oldest saloon in Nevada. The course winds through Primm Valley, El Dorado Valley, Hidden Valley, and Goodsprings Valley.
MOTORCYCLE REQUIREMENTS:
The easy route can accommodate adventure bikes, ATV's and Side-by-Sides, knobby tires are recommended. The harder route is NOT suitable for adventure bikes with low clearance like the BMW R1200GS and vehicles wider than a motorcycle!
Your licensed motorcycle must meet Vehicle Code requirements and have a spark arrestor. Sticker motorcycles must include one headlamp, one tail lamp, one red reflector on the rear of the OHV (unless the tail lamp is red and reflective), and a working muffler. You must have liability insurance. A Nevada certificate of operation is not required for an off-highway vehicle if that vehicle is registered or certified in another state and is located in Nevada for no more than 90 days. When riding on streets with sticker OHVs, all travel must be less than 2 miles, on the shoulder when possible, and below the marked speed limit.
EQUIPMENT:
At the very least, you should have a cell phone, hydration pack, canteen, matches, tow strap, tools, spare tube (front will work in rear as well), tire irons, and a hand pump.
RULES & SAFETY:
Obey all rules and traffic laws. Do not cut across corners. If you miss a turn, go all the way back to the turn. Dual Sport rides do NOT have exclusive use of any roads or trails, so ride carefully. Watch the blind corners. This is not a race - have fun and enjoy the scenery!
SINGLE RIDERS:
If you are not part of a group, find another rider or group to join. You will be required to tell us at sign-up so we know who you will be with. It is dangerous to ride alone!
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Rooms are available at Buffalo Bill's Hotel Casino - mention group code SCL 0925 for a discount. For a reservation call: 1-800-386-7867.
