Off-road, Hub, Guided
Imagine riding trails which are the relics of an era when gold rush boomed and prospectors hauled tons of equipment pulled by oxen, horses or mules though the desert. Seeing the remains of some of Americas largest Gold Mining claims and getting to experience the extremes of the faded dream to strike it rich.
This tour is designed as a hub tour to allow great flexibility and accommodate different customer’s interests in the remote desert terrain. The tour stays in a small town called Randsburg, California. Also known as 'The Living Ghost Town', Randsburg is rich with mining history and great trails. Located between the Sequoia National Forest and Death Valley, in the center of the Mojave Desert, approximately 3 hours from Los Angeles, Randsburg offers you many interesting places to visit, like old mining camps, mining tunnels, Tufa Towers, a riders monument, native Americans Petroglyphs, to name just a few. All connected through an extensive trails system throughout designated off-road riding areas offering a limitless variety of terrain - rocky hills, sandy washes, steep hill climbs, narrow trails, and wide open desert.
No matter the riders experience, we have the right terrain for anyone. Our team of tour guides will ensure that you have a ride well matched to your skill level and if needed we add a day of training before the tour. Since there is no driver license required we can also accommodate kids in the age 15+. We providing a challenging ride based on your skill level and preference. At the end of the day a great accommodation is waiting for you at our base lodge with cabins and rooms operated by motocross legend Goat Breker. Two up riding is not recommended on this tour.
